A TEENAGER was pressured to surrender $10,000 in a matter of days after scammers threatened him with a murderous plot.

Chatting with ABC Information affiliate, KABC-TV, Valdez revealed the fear he felt when the fraudsters threatened his family.
"In case you don't pay this amount, I'll murder you and your loved ones," Valdez recalled being advised in a textual content message.
As Valdez began paying the demands which began as small sums, the costs continued to increase.
"He stored texting me and harassing me about I want this a lot, I want this a lot, I want one other amount," the teenager advised the information outlet.
Alongside his mother, Valdez defined that the threatening textual content messages from scammers included graphic pictures and videos.
These clips and pictures have been sent to further strike terror into Valdez by displaying him what would allegedly happen to his family if he didn't adjust to the scammer's demands.
"He despatched me videos of individuals getting shot and getting chopped up," the teenager stated.
In response, he informed the scammer: "I'm making the cost. You promise to go away me and my family alone."
"I was simply frozen in worry. I didn't know what to do," he explained to the information outlet.
After Valdez misplaced $10,000 in every week, his whole financial savings, he reached out to his mom for assist as an extra demand of $6,000 was made.
"I was upset. I was crying. I was annoyed," Mary Jane Valdez stated.
