A WALMART shopper claims he was singled out by an ignorant employees member who requested to examine his receipt as he left the store.
A man and his son purchased a television set at Walmart for $344.09 on Monday and took it to a cashier to get the anti-theft gadget removed from the packaging.
As Senti Rasa, 52, and his 18-year-old son tried to go away, he was stopped by the door greeter who asked for his receipt.
"I asked what do you'll want to see my receipt for, I've already paid for it, you possibly can ask the (cashier)," he informed Canadian outlet, Orillia Matters.
"I stored walking and out of the blue one other higher acquired in my face and was holding my buggy and stated I wasn't leaving, holding me hostage."
Rasa explained that a retailer supervisor approached him with four to 5 other staff to say it was store policy to verify the receipt – an analogous follow in other shops resembling Costco.
