A DEVASTATED lady has revealed she lost more than $30,000 after falling in love with someone she believed starred in successful TV collection.
The lady, from Indianapolis, bought dozens of present cards over a number of months and sent them to an imposter.
She thought she was speaking with the actor Steve Burton on-line, who was recognized for enjoying Jason Morgan on the collection General Hospital, per the ABC affiliate WRTV.
Burton starred within the show between 1991-2012 and 2017 till 2021 and was by no means involved in the rip-off that noticed someone use his identify to steal from the sufferer.

Goddard claimed the impersonator was using social media handles that contained the phrase official and images from his account.
He urged his social media fans to not fall for the scam.
